You Have Been Lost…

Wow, it has been a long time since I’ve done one of these. Too long. When I lived in Juba, one of the phrases they use that I loved was ‘You are lost’. It’s a way of saying that you haven’t been around for a while or that no one has seen you for sometime. It’s a way also of saying you’ve been missed. So in the true Juban style I have, been lost.

lost in South Sudan…

Although I haven’t written for some time, stuff is happening.

Gemma and I have been busy both in our other professional lives, our personal lives and with Breaker.

We’ve hosted several Friday morning meet ups at The King Charles, some, where we just chat, relax and breathe knowing our little ones are as happy as pigs in sh*t next door with our childminding extraordinaire Georgia. We’ve had a visit from the amazing Mum of Leos who has become a fast friend. We also were privileged to have Miss Winchester and Little Miss Winchester who is one of THE cutest babies I’ve ever seen.

Other mornings we’ve had women like Sarah from Style Solutions by Sarah who spoke to a group of us about how to get our mojo back and own our personal style.

DO Join us for a Friday morning meet up. AND bring your littles. Look at how amazing the space is that we get to use at The King Charles. We love Dawn! (and of course Bruce who keeps us in steady supply of tea and coffee).

Join us for our next sesh focused on family, food, fitness and fun this Friday.

It was also Easter Hols (or as us Americans like to call it, Spring Break!) which led Gemma to Bulgaria for a ski hol with her crew and personally I think so that she could search for a Bulgarian Stud goat man (see link and photo).

I scurried off to the US with hubs and my clan for an epic American NASA Disney World trip with American fam in tow. It was amazing. Fab weather, fab family, my bro’s girlfriend even convinced us to wear matching shirts one day- and those of you who know me know I’m not a matchy matchy sort of gal! I’ll admit even that was hilarious and fun.

I may have leaked a few tears about having to do real life again at the airport before I came back. OK truth is I sobbed on the phone to Gemma on the other side of the pond who listened empathetically then told me to pull myself together and get my ass on the plane!

…a photo of me thinking about going back to real life after Spring Break aka Easter Hols.
